CATHEDRAL AT BAMBERG WIENER, Jacques: Germany, 1861, Bronze, 59 mm Bamberg is a town and archiepiscopal see of Germany, in the Land of Bavaria. The cathedral, a late Romanesque building, was founded in 1004 by the emperor Henry II. It features four imposing towers. The cathedral was later partially burned, and rebuilt in the 13th century.
